Midway Unveils Plans for CITYCENTRE Seven with Addition of New Boutique Hotel, Class A Office Space and Retail and Restaurants

Demolition Has Begun to Make Way for this New Development

Houston-based Midway, a privately owned, fully integrated real estate investment and development firm, is pleased to announce that demolition has commenced to make way for CITYCENTRE Seven, its latest significant development at CITYCENTRE, Houston’s premier mixed-use destination for Class A office space, upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment. This development is designed to add capacity to this high-demand centre, which is currently 97% leased.  


The new development totals approximately 147,000 square feet, including 120,000 square feet of Class A office space, and more than 27,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.


In addition, Marriott International has awarded a franchise to bring the company’s design-driven AC Hotels brand to CITYCENTRE, which will also be developed by Midway. This marks the second AC Hotels by Marriott in the Houston market, joining AC Hotels by Marriott Houston Downtown.

Located on the corner of Beltway 8 and Interstate 10, CITYCENTRE Seven will feature a six-level office building with ground floor retail, providing direct access to shopping, dining, and entertainment at CITYCENTRE and conveniently near the additional office buildings in the area. In addition to CITYCENTRE’s existing amenity-rich environment, planned amenities for the development include boutique fitness, spa and wellness amenities, and fast casual dining with convenient parking in a seven-level garage.
